The "X" is a beautiful detail, as are the grouphead caps.

I don't want to sound too critical given that they hadn't even planned releasing images of the machine yet, but I am wondering:

- How one gets access to the internal left & right sides when the machine's weight rests on the side panels?

- Have they eliminated sputtery Faema steam valves, given that they're pointed directly at the barista?

- Is anything known about internal innovations (ie to do with pre-infusion or boiler design) that would make the machine more than a Synesso body kit? I see it has a pressure guage for each group... is this the same design as the Hydra or is there something new?

Again, a very beautiful and flashy design! Well done.

The Slayer website (especially the videos) will tell you a good bit. Looks like pressure-profiling is a big part of this thing.

Fascinating stuff... two of the guys are two of the three who started the "Trueh Italia" project before Mark Barnett (the third) developed that into Synesso.

I always wondered who those other two were, and what ever became of them. Good stuff!

Apologies for my hastily posted questions earlier - I see now they've got a system that regulates pre-infusion (pressure regulating valve at inlet?) and most interestingly a way of bringing pressure down towards the end of the shot.

What would really make it look amazing would be to hide the hoses and cables inside the legs.
