Marty, how about sharing some of those photos with us. I love old coffee machines and coffee equipment in general.
Thanks, geir.
ps. I'm nearly finished restoring my 50's Vittoria 25 lb. coffee roaster.

Geir
What would be the best way to share we have about 4000-5000 photos of Orgin, different stages of rebuilding equipment, rebuilt equipment and roasting plants. Also some of the equipment we have design good, bad and ugly.

Marty...Might not be the proper time to ask, but do you sell roasters? I don't want to hi-jack the thread, but....

On a side note, we've actually met a few years back while you were rebuilding one of Alterra's roasters. I'd like to talk with you, if possible, next time you're in the area.

Maybe we can have photos on the headers of poeple plants, cafes, roaster, trick out sample roaster, tasting labs or maybe just place that once a week we can send a photo and have it posted. We can switch each week.

thanks to tonx for this header image of sliced beans in the hand. i wonder tony, do you cut those with a dremmel or do you have a mini bandsaw? whats the method?

note that you may have to click refresh on your browser to force the updated header to appear, as they are kept in cache by firefox and other browsers default settings.

I cut em open with a small knife I keep on my belt, usually while they're still hot which seems to help.
